I am currently a 15P, but I want to reclass to crew chief or WO. I don't want to wait for my reenlistment window because I still have a year left. The job I have and the unit I'm with is perfect, but I want to be in the action. I know it sounds crazy, but I want to be the one that tells the stories to my grand kids about what their granddad did...ha..ha. If any crew chiefs, plots or just some other joe have any answers, please help
The Army is looking for Warrant Officers. Get with your chain and the Career Counselor to find out if you are eligible.

i see that you want to reclass to a crew chief. i am trying to do the same thing I thought that 15P was a crew chief could you tell me what mos is a crew chief.
As for reclassing outside of the reenlistment window, you'll have to see your Career Counselor for processing of a DA Form 4187. However, you may want to wait until your 24-month reenlistment window opens so you have this guaranteed in your contract.
