I need an answer please

Question:
I reenlisted to relcass and my report date is 18 April 2008. I am flaged due to my pt test failure due to an ankle and knee injury. I just got my ankle mri done and am going to mri my knee in about a week. Can i get my report date delayed till after my injuries heal completely?

You can possibly get your report date deferred for up to four months ... anything longer will required a validation/renegotiation of your contract.

Youll need to see your servicing Career Counselor for the deferrment processing.

No, I read your post too fast.

If you need a change to a training date, this will require a validation/renegotiation; there are no deferrments for this request.

Also, you don't know who your Career Counselor is? It the person (with the badge), that created and processed your contract. If you cannot find your Career Counselor, send me a PM (Private Message) with your unit to include higher headquarters) and I'll find them for you.

Oops, sorry about that ...

Your Career Counselor will request a new class date from HRC; and this is called a validation/renegotiation of your contract. The validation is if they can find you a new date or if they cannot, your contract may be renegotiated so you can choose another option/MOS.
