So if I utilize the fast track program to reclass as a 25B which has a 19 week AIT, would my contract automatically be extended past my ETS date up to the 16 month SRR without me having to reenlist?

Oh no, you'd reenlist/extend PRIOR to leaving for AIT.

Also having the same issue. I currently have 6 months left in the army and am planning to ETS. Am worried the army is going to end up choosing a new MOS for me and requiring me to stay in for longer than my 4 year enlistment. Is this something I should worry about or would it be wise to reenlist under my own terms? Would much rather get out if at all possible.

If you want to remain apart of the Army team, it's always best to take the initiative in your career and try to call as many shots as you can, while you can.
