If a Soldier has re-enlisted for Unit Stabilization can the Army Involuntary Re-Class you before your Stabilization is up?

Im finding myself in this pickle!

When did the Soldier reenlist for stabilization?

When is the stabilization up?

When is the training start date for the new MOS?

Well I will be re-enlisting on 1 Sept. My stabilization will end Jan 09. When I contacted my branch Manager about slots in JCSE he told me that If I re-enlist as a 25Q I will be re-classed Needs of the Army. ( and he made it seem like this was going to happen very soon )

I will be dropping my 4187 for re-class for the MOS I want in Dec after I finish my FAST classes and ASVAB. But I just dont want the Army to try to Re-class me before I get a chance to choose.

Yeah, reenlist for stabilization and you'll be good. You can receive orders at about six months, but won't leave until 12-months (unless you go TDY and return)

Get your reclass packet as soon as possible ... good luck in the FAST class.
