I would like to submit a 4187 for reclassification and I am wondering if there is something or somewhere that it states that if you have over 10 years of AFS that you cannot. I have been trying to go through the BEAR program (into 35F) and now I'm being told that there are no class dates that will have me graduating before my 14 year mark of March 2009. So, is there still hope of changing my MOS from 92A to 35F? Thank you for your help.

This really depends on if you can meet the qualifications of some MOSs.

Just going off the information you provided, you cannot change your MOS.

If you're a SGT(P), I can take an educated guess and assume you are not an initial term Soldier so Option 3, Army Training Reenlistment Option will not be offered to you.

Since you are in a shortage MOS, the only MOSs you could get into would be a MI type MOS or similar.

Well, finally after months of working at it, I was able to extend under the BEAR program for 35F. I have a school report date of 1 August. Thank you for all of your help and guidance. The persistance seems to have paid off.
