I am having a problem trying to find out how to get in contact with someone who can give me some details. I want to know if the 25B course for non- IET soldiers is long enough for a PCS, or what the constraints on a "prior service" soldier would be as far as paying for dependants to move there temporarily for the course duraition. I will just be coming off of a deployment when i go to AIT, so time away from my wife and daughter is not something i want to do.

Use the website below for more admin info about your course. But it looks like your school is 19 weeks and 4 days. It needs to be 20 weeks or more for it to be a PCS move.

b. Soldiers will be advised that family member travel and shipment of household goods to schools at Government
expense is not authorized under Joint Federal Travel Regulations (JFTR) unless the Soldier is being assigned PCS to a
school or installation to attend one of the following:
(1) A course of 20 weeks or more.
