Does anyone know the AR the governs AD mandatory reclass for security purpose. I am doing my own career councilors job, and would like to know the steps that I need to follow.

I already have a memorandium enroute to my BDE CMDR for retain and reclassment. I have completed applications for schools, if I am allowed to help presuade my career.

I was able to read the TRADOC 350-6 that said for their retains tradoc:
" (2) Using the "RETAVAL" report available in the reports generator section of ATRRS, the ATRRS operator can enter the social security numbers for up to ten different individuals. ATRRS will print out a listing of the training available for each individual, based on their qualifications and the available classes scheduled in ATRRS over the next 4 weeks. The IET soldier may use this listing to select a new MOS. If the IET soldier is qualified, and a training seat is available, the MOS is reserved. When the reservation is made, a message is provided to the PSC, which is their authority to publish orders. "

Is that the same for AD at a line unit? The MOS Producting school, 21P, that I would like to attend there next class date in 3 JAN 08? ? Does that automatically exclude me from that class.

At the rate of assistance from my local career councilor, I will walk back to Ft.Hood, TX where I had a excellent career councilor who could recite everything I ever thought about asking as per regulations. Had confidence of his abilities, and most importantly his willingness to help.
