Hello all,

I'm currently in a complete bind right now. I have been doing my MOS for 3 years and just now CCF (central clearance facility) has denied my TS clearance no longer making me qualified for my MOS. So I must reclass. I am also in my re-enlistment window, so I can use the in-out calls to re-enlist to a MOS that is open in the Y collum of my grade.

Problem- My 1sg got on ATTR's and reserved me a spot at 88M school and changed my ERB to say 88M10 instead of what I currently am. Forcing me to re-enlist for 88M, wich currently on the IN/OUT call is a N/N ballanced.

I have a bad feeling that I was just bent over, but am having trouble finding any regulations or supporting evidence to help my cause. Anyone out there have any advise or knowledge that could assist me with this.

All help is greatly welcomed and thank you very much.

So I could be totally off here but....
I don't think that you could have a slot at 88M school without a 4187 signed BY you. And also, when you say that your TS was "just now" denied, how soon ago was that? Usually a packet for a slot at AIT includes a 4187, APFT card, body fat card, and sometimes a host of other things. Unless your 1SG has connections, I can't imagine you actually already being slotted to go to 88m school. Have you checked your ASK and seen if you are getting ready to be on orders to go to AIT? Or have you tried calling your branch manager?

I think the best place to start is by going to your Retention office for your BN/BDE, and speaking to a Career Counselor about this. I think it is going to be hard to help you out over a forum, since its going to need a personal touch on it. If you have any problems finding your Retention office, then send me a PM. I suggest calling your post operator and asking for the Retention office.
