Okay after months of going back and fourth, I went back to my original plan to reclass to 38B (Civil Affairs), so I have a few more questions. I am still pregnant(lol). My expected due date is 31DEC08. I know that in the packet for 38B it requires you to have an airborne physical. Can I get one while I'm pregnant, if not, will I have to wait until I have my baby to even start the process of reclassing? How long is AIT for 38B? Also, my current MOS (31B) in/out calls for E-5 is Y/N, however, it also states "SOLDIERS MAY REQUEST RECLASSIFICATION INTO CMF 18, 21D, 21P, 31D, 35L, 37F, 38B, 79R AND 89D REGARDLESS OF THE IN/OUT CALLS FOR CURRENT PMOS.". With that being said, 38B is in the BEAR program. Can I get it through the BEAR program or just under option 3? Here's my information just in case you need it. Also, AR I want to thank you in advance cause I know you have all the answers!! 31B E-5 ETS: 21APR05

Soldiers requesting CMF 18, MOS 21D, 21P, 31D, 35L, 37F, 38B, 79R, 89D may request entry into the BEAR program regardless of their In/Out call status.
38B course length is 11 weeks.
I'm not sure if you can complete an airborne physical while pregnancy ... I'd even go as far as to say "No, you cannot complete an airborne physical while pregnant." But you should check with the medical facility for this one.
