Ok I have soldier who has relisted to reclass he wants out of our lovely mos 19d and he wants to do something more relaxed and he has a school date of sept 09 but the question is, is there a way he can get an earlier school date and he is changing to a cook is there a way that if he already renlisted that he could change the mos to say a clerk if he wanted to eventhough he already signed all the paper work
Your Career Counselor most likely got the earliest school date for your Soldier ... there is never a reason to hold a Soldier up from a school date.
As for changing what he reenlisted for, he'll have to waive his reenlistment commitment and submit a voluntary reclassfication. This is not a guaranteed way to get what he wants though.
