IN THE PREQUISTES FOR 68V IT SAYS I NEED TO HAVE CHEMISTRY PRIOR TO GOING TO THE SCHOOL ME COLLEGE DOES NOT OFFER CHEMISTRY BUT OFFERS OTHER CLASSES THAT INCULDE CHEMISTRY WILL THIS SUFFICE? I HAVE ALSO BEEN TOLD THAT SINCE U HAVE A G.E.D THAT THIS TO WILL COVER THE CLASSES NEEDED SINCE MATH AND CHEMISTRY IS PART OF TH G.E.D TEST. WILL THIS WORK.

Academic Requirements: One year algebra and chemistry, high school or college with a passing grade of "C" or higher. Soldiers who have not taken algebra and chemistry may submit a passing CLEP score in both subjects.

There was an E8 who flew down to ft.bliss from hrc and was handling all the reclasses and when he asked I informed him about my GED and then was informed since Algebra and Chemistry is mandatory to pass the GED and I have 42 college credits that this will cover it. I have also seen on other MOS's in the smart book that the GED will cover down for these courses. I already have my reservation in ARTTS and have been to me LEVY Brief I am in the process to PCS to Ft. Sam Houston what will happen if it the GED does not cover the courses. I reclassed due to a mmrb and can longer do my PMOS 52d20c9. How will this work.

So, a MSG from HRC said that this is ok AND you're already enrolled in AIT for the MOS ... so why are you asking this question?

Will the school be able to turn me once I pcs my family to Fort Sam Houston. That is the biggest issue I have my wife is a full time student here at Ft. Biss and we own our ow home and once all those issues are dealt with and we moved I do not want it to be for nothing.

If you've been approved and scheduled for the class, you won't be turned away, unless you do something crazy.
