First off I'm a 15U and a little over 2yrs into a 6yr contract. I'm looking for some clarrification on reclassification guidelines (i.e. I don't fully understand the option 3 retraining option, and can I put in for reclassification when my 2 yr reenlistment window opens or do I have to put in for reclass before that?) Any information would greatly be appreciated.

My MOS preferences are 11B or 19D.

You cannot do Option 3, Army Training Option because your are not in your 24-month reenlistment window.

You may not understand all that is in the message, but you'll have a basic understanding of how voluntary reclassification works.

If you are not approved for voluntary reclassification, you can wait it out until you are within your 24-month reenlistment window.
