Ok i decided to reclass to 25b from 11b in iraq. Well... im doing OJT and ffice work is killing me! I was wondering if there is ANY way I can go EOD or stay infantry, preferrably EOD though. Thanks!

NO my PMOS is still 11b, but i got my 25B bonus alreayd... which still wouldnt even come close to an.. 89d? or 11b bonus. Im scheduled to go to ait in dec. Sorry to all the desk guys out there, but i cant do it!

You got a 25B bonus, but your PMOS is not 25B? Not possible.

What I think happened was, you reenlisted for Option 3 and received a deployment bonus. Right?

If this is what happened, you can't chnage your bonus, but you can waive your reenlistment option and submit a voluntary reclassification for 89D.

Ok so what i think youre telling me is... I can talk to my carrer counselor and change my current contract to go to 89D school instead of 25B school... right? Im not scheduled to go until DEC, but ive got orders to riley afterward... does this make a difference? My orders are as a 25B.

No, you can waive your current reenlistment committment by getting with your Career Counselor and them submitting the request to HRC. You will then be at the needs of the Army the remainder of your contract.

You can, however, submit a voluntary reclassification for 89D after your waive your reenlistment committment and become fully qualified for 89D.
