Almost every MOS in the Army that is worth being in, states in the requirements that you cannot have any conviction other then minor traffic tickets, what is the chance of misdemeanors being waived? I got into some trouble years ago, but now I want a TS SCI clearance. I am wondering about that process... Thanks for any help!

You need to be more specific about your charges. That will help us out the recruiting world give you an idea. Ultimently its up to the Security Interveiwer if you will get the go ahead.
No thats not always the case. But once again you are going to have to be more clear on your charges. How long ago were your charges? What were they? Were they juvenile? Obviously no one on here will know for sure if you will be eligible or not but we can give you a educated guess since its not up to us.

Well, this statement isn't really true, but just so you know, the application is the same, but the actual investigation is different.
It's not really hard to get a TS, just don't have a lot of unpaid debt and don't lie about anything.
Ok, Another question, if I can get a security clearance, would I be disqualified because in the requirements it states that you cannot have any convictions other then minor traffic offenses.

Oh lord, I am going to act like a MP here. Please let me be wrong lol From what it sounds like you might have a secret clearance yet you have something more then a minor traffic ticket, now I find that really hard but not impossible I am sure. A TS might not be hard to get but if there is something there the chances of them finding it are good. I was honest when I joined the Army straight with them, and oddly enough nothing was on my record, now, they looked at me like are you sure and I had the paperwork to prove it, but my stuff was all dropped so that's why there was no record of it.
Say hello to the 97th MP BN for me. I know a lot of people there

Oh so Infantry is not an MOS that is worth being in, or any combat job.... Watch what you say because there are 150 ways to support a soldier, only 1 way to be a soldier

I have a Secret, and they know everything, I guess that what I meant to ask was, if the MOS Prereqs state that you cannot have a misdemeanor, can you get that waived, and by the way desertgrunt, I wasnt knocking combat arms, my hats off to ya, but I was looking long term for jobs after the army...
