im a 63B which i think is an understrength mos. Im a mid career soldier and next year my next reenlistment window opens. I am bored with my mos an probably wont reenlist if i cant reclass. i haven't spoken with reenlistment yet, but i am wondering what my chances of reclassing to almost anything are. how often are in/out call messages updated. What does "mos priority levels" mean my platoon sergeant told me that an mos with a lower priority number is easier to reclass but he didnt seem to know about it. i know i can talk to reenlistment but i want to get some info first last time i reenlisted i get to reclass becuase i went into the office without info and very hastily.
As a former 63B myself I can understand your position. I made a similar decision about 6 years ago. You should check out 21P. It's in the BEAR program right now so you should be able to reclass into it. If you qualify I can garuntee you a more exciting career. We are always on the move. Not just in the Combat Zones either. Lots of travel and schools available. Check out the qualifications and application proceedures at PPSDo not confuse what we are with 52D or 21R, we are completely different. Good luck with your career.

The BEAR Program is for PFC through SSG in balanced and overstrength MOS ... Soldiers requesting MOS 89D, 97E or CMF 18 may request entry into the BEAR program regardless of their In/Out call status.

AR, Thanks for the clarification. I didn't know that.
