I am currently SSG, 68P M5 (Nuclear Medicine Tech). Can anyone tell me if ASI's are required to reclass as well?

68P, E-4 and below and E-6, are being required to reclass, does this include ASI's? My ASI is M5, Nuclear Medicine Tech.

Probably. But what is the source you are obtaining the info from? What I THINK the most likely outcome would be is that you would reclass to 68W and still carry the identifier. You would still essentially be doing the same function since you carry a valuable identifier, that is from what I understand kinda rare....correct?

Or look at options availablr through BEAR. I would start making serious decisions now, if the source is reliable. This way you can obtain all of the pre-reqs for the gaining MOS should there be any you currently do not have. Like say.....Secret or Top Secret clearance.
