This is a national guard and reserve MOS only and frankly I think they completely discontinued it years ago. Now if you are a native speaker of a foreign language you can be an 09L. Never even met a 97L before. Did you mean a different MOS?

ArmyReenlistment,
I would also like to reclass to 35Q. I am a Korean speaker with 3/3 DLPT scores. Currently my MOS is 35M and my rank is SGT. My ETS is 12Feb2010, so I am in my reenlisment window and willing to BEAR into 35Q if it is possible.
I would appreciate any information that you could give me.

35Q is a Reserve Component MOS only.

35M is a great tactical intelligence based MOS. The job is great for people who like to directly deal with other people and cultures. The MOS training is fun and incoporates alot of realism from interrogations to tactical HUMINT team operations. The school house is in Fort Huachuca AZ, just outside of Sierra Vista, AZ and an hour drive from Tucson.
Your assignment upon graduation will be based upon the needs of the Army with consideration of your Additional Skill Identifiers (ASI) and your language skills. There are 35M Soldiers all around the world at all levels of the Army.
The FM for most 35M operations is 2-22.3.
Another MOS that you might consider is 35L. It is more based upon Strategic Intelligence Collection. Both 35L and 35M have great promotion rates points all the way to SFC and great Warrant Officer equilivant (351M/351L) acceptance rates.
