i don't want to pop your bubble, but i believe i've read somewhere that there are certain jobs you can't go for when going green to gold (i.e. JAG, etc...) i think medical was one of them...but let me do some research and find more info...

Also when you go Officer, dont you make a "dream list" and they pick what job you are going to do out of that, its not like "oh i want to be medical or nothing" and you WILL be medical.

Unless you have a medical degree (pharmacy, radiology, nursing), it is highly unlikely to get medical.

Your safest bet is to go Green to Gold under the AMEDD Nursing Program:

http://www.usarec.army.mil/AECP/

Or the Interservice Physicians Assistant Program, which gives you a Masters Degree after two years of training:
http://www.usarec.army.mil/armypa/

Review these programs and see if you meet the qualifications. They are guaranteed Medical Corps if you get accepted and complete the training.

Did you receive an MOS bonus or a deployment bonus? I'm assuming that you received a deployment bonus if you reenlisted for Option 3, Army Training Reenlistment Option.

Yes, you can waive your reenlistment option. You can also take CTC classes anywhere. Are you currently enrolled.

If you are unsure about what you want to do, go for an associates of general studies (AGS) through CTC.

On the GoArmyEd portal, click on "My Virtual Education Center", "Enroll or Drop/Withdraw from a Course", "Request TA and Enroll in a Course". This will open your Course Advisor ... you can select auto-advisor and select a class.

Read through this slideshow to answer all you AECP questions.

Also, the POC is very quick with responses (if not traveling and briefing this)

Maybe you could help me as well. I am looking at reclassing from finance to 88N. Could you give me some info the basics of the MOS? I will be reenlisting in Sept and I hope to get a class date in Oct. I already have the points to make SGT so how will the look at me as a reclass? I want to be a good leader, but it will be hard coming into an MOS as a SGT.
