Under the current transformation of the Indiana Army National Guard, I am being forced to reclass from 13B to another MOS. 31B is an option on the table for my new MOS, and I am very interested in becoming an MP. I was just wanting to get some information about what I can expect if I do decide to reclass as a 31B. Where would I go? How long is the reclass? Since this is my first time reclassing too, I'm not sure if I have to get stuck with IET soldiers or something like that too.

AIT is about 10 wks. It deals with the main missions MP's have in combat, but you also cover the cop side as well like senarios and paperwork. People give us a hard time but career wise there is a lot of opportunity for a good soldier. As far as IET soldiers go if your you would be considered an insert and that has certain privelages and some pain in the rear. What else do you want to know?

Well you have to do what your career can handle. It's not for everybody but it's not fair to generalize to be negative.

The MP Corps to me is the best job the Army has to offer. Sure I have had some hard times but over all but I love the Green and Gold.

Smittaayy are you talking about the 552nd MP co in Korea. I was there for a while. when were you there.

Yes. I was only at the Duece from Nov 2004 to Feb 2005. Then until Aug 06, I spent time at all the other companies in the 728th. I was an involuntary journeyman.
