I am putting in a packet for the 4 year scholership and I was wanting to know what the chances of being accepted into the program if I meet all the requirments? I will reenlist for as long as they need me for and everything, I have already contacted the university I will be attending and they have sent me an acceptance letter into the university and into the ROTC program, any help would be great

So long as you have a good record, there is a pretty decent chance about getting accepted. A friend of mine was just accepted and started school very recently. If worse comes to worse and you aren't accepted for any reason, can always go to school while you stay active duty and then put in your OCS packet. Best of luck.

SFsolider23 ... have you finally decided on a career path?

If you meet all the requirements (without waiver) and the college accepted you, you'll be selected.

Why don't you just merge all your threads into one and we can answer your plethora of questions about every MOS in the Army in one thread? That way you can get more help/responses instead of onesies and twosies per thread?

Cut the guy some slack. So maybe he's just not exactly sure what to do with his life. I'm in the same boat. At least he's asking questions instead of just blindly walking into something like a lot of people do.

I was being serious. It would be a lot easier to help if he made one thread so we could continue to answer questions in that thread instead of trying to remember what he asked and what he/we said in other threads.

There isn't anything wrong with changing your mind or exploring all of your options. I'm just trying to help him get more answers...if he has one big thread with more repliers then most people get the email notification when a reply is posted. Unless you're like me and subscribed to every sub-forum, most people don't get notifications every time I thread is posted.

I have already spoke with the college, sent my transcripts and they have already accepted me, I am spoken with the professor of military science and he has already sent me a memo saying that I have been accepted into the ROTC program, all I got to do now is finish this last class up, and retake the ASVAB to get a 110 on the GT, other than that I am ready to put my packet together

and actually I have another question, does the FAST CLASS work well with bringing your scores up, right now i have a 101 on my GT, do you think that if i really worked hard in the class it would bring me up to 110?

My mistake. I misinterpreted that as sarcasm.

As for the FAST class, I've seen quite a few soldiers take that and they always raise their score, so you've got a good chance, just take it seriously, and you'll be good.
