I wish to download some field guides for airsoft and mil-sim purposes. It asks you to login with a user name and password. I have tried this groupee account and it does not work. If someone could tell me how to do this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Most of the pubs that you are probably looking for require an AKO (Army Knowledge Online) account. The AKO account is a sort of universal login that allows the Ary to restrict certain information to those that need it versus making it easily open to the general public.

There are sites out there that publish the manuals in an online format such as globalsecurity.org and regrettably also publish information which is tagged "for official use only" or FOUO.

In order to get an AKO login you have to be in the Army, be sponsored by someone that is in the Army such as a family member or be a contractor that works for the Army.

In the end, most of the pubs would probably not benefit you muc because they tend to get really technical. You could drop a couple bucks and buy one of the training programs offered by 550cord.com and learn some basics about movement techniques and other stuff you may use.
