Hey guys quick question. A buddy of mine today told me that if you Reenlist for a new MOS or participate in the BEAR program that you will not leave that school until your current DEROS date. I was under the impression that if you reenlist at your two year mark and your DEROS is for 10 months after that, which is my case, that you wouldn't necessarily have to stay here those 10 months and that you could probably leave your current duty station early to go to your school. I am just completely confused about how this works? Probably, but humor me anyway and let me know if you guys get the chance. Thanks,

If you are participating in the BEAR then you would extend to meet the 2 year requirment after your mos school. I am trying to BEAR and I have 12 Months until my DEROS. Anyways MOS school dates for BEAR are based of of your DEROS, meaning you won't go till your DEROS is up.
