I am not a 11B or have any knowledge about the Airborne Schools etc. I have a Soldier who is interested in Airborne School, and I am inquirying on exactly how to go about getting him started on the right path. He is a SPC with 2 yrs in as a 88N. I'd appreciate any help in this matter.

He should talk to the NCO in charge of schools, he works at your Battalion.

He'll need an Airborne physical. I cant remember how long they're good for but he'll need it for the packet.

If I remember correctly from when I did my packet this is what I needed:
Airborne Physical (good for 12 months)
ERB showing no flag
PT card showing score of at least 70% in each event
4187 requesting Airborne School
2 Memos with your company header at the top. One is the Voulnteer Statement and I cannot remember what the other one is. My orderly room has these saved in their computers, and they just change the name/dates when someone wants to go
