I got a 6 month school option with my reenlistment and want to work towards finishing my bachelor's degree. I'm looking for a school that is flexible and has online programs. One where I can get the most of the limited TA money and get a BA in finance or History, or something related. Anyone have any suggestions?

AMU is a good school if you want flexible. They charge exactly as much as TA pays, so there is no out of pocket cost for you, and books are free for undergraduate students. Their education counselors are very helpful and they will email you as soon as you are accepted into a program and they answer questions super fast.

Have you gone to your post Education Center and see what local state universities offer? They might even have liaisons from universities in your area who have offices in the Ed Center that you can talk to and ask questions.

Although AMU is a very user-friendly school, has it been regionally accreditted yet?

Also, check with your commander to see if you can take online courses for this program.

Nationally Accreditation is not what employers look for.
