Im an E4{p} about to drop my recruiter packet his week. My DEROS and ETS are 7 months out and my unit is supposed to be dropping a stop loss/Stop movement in about 2 months for the SEP deployment. If my packet goes through and gets approved wouldn't I be exempt from SL/SM.THanks for your help you guys are great!

Seems you'll need to reenlist as well for Option 1 once USAREC approves your packets and places you on AI. You will not be exempt from SL/SM with a packet pending.

So if your packet is approved and you get a school date they cant touch you? Thanks for your help the fine print can get very frustrating.

Are you doing CPL Recruiting? B/c the USAREC website says you cannot do it if you are promotable, did you find a way around this or are you doing Recruiting when you get your SGT Stripes?

Never say can't; but they'd be going against their own policies if they did.
