I would tell ya everyone is right about not being able to get an Art 15 for failing a PT test. As for the Art 115, I think you could use this in a reply to your chain. It says "Any person subject to this chapter who for the purpose of avoiding work, duty, or service". Well your in Iraq, how can you be avoiding work, duty or service out there? It's like saying some one is AWOL and they haven't gone on R&R. To be honest, if your chain is really trying to push it, I would really fight it. My guess would be it would get thrown out. By all means don't force way to much PT on soldier. Remember you are still in Iraq and things change in a blink on an eye. If there is gradual improvement that's a good sign. Sounds like your doing what you can already so keep that part up as much as you can do.
