Be more specic. A checklist as far as a packing list? Or a checklist as far as what to get done before deployment (ie. POA, Will)?

I mean both, really. Legal stuff for my family, and what to pack.

when you SRP you should get a list of everything your gonna need to do as far as legal,finance, and all that. far as a packing list your gonna need to check your unit's SOP

There is a decent leaders book here. Check pages 18 - 23 for information you are looking for. As stated above, not all will pertain to you. Check your unit SOP. Hope this helps...
