before you get an apartment, you do realize you only get bah if you are on active duty right? as a national guardsmen you don't get it just for drill, or RSP.

unless you are married you won't receive during basic and ait either unless you are married.

if you are active guard (work at your unit monday through friday 9-5 type deal plus drill weekends) then you would get it and you would just go to your finance nco...

Was it not you that was just asking about what to expect in BCT and AIT. Your in the barracks for that training no way around that. Let alone what is your MOS going to be, 9 weeks plus whatever for AIT. Save your money!! Why are you looking for an apartment now, not my business so no need to answer. Just a thought going through my head.

Not only all that but your a PV2 from your little icon, depending on where you are your not going to get all that much it will be something but seriously think about the apartment before you get into something that you are not able to get out of and end up with money problems.

What sort of aid through BAH are you talking about. Active Duty like whiskey said are the only ones that I know of that get BAH. There is BAH for us single people that are lucky enough to get it for reasons of our MOS's and then there is the BAH amount that married soldiers get.

Anyway I'm all in all baffaled (sp) by one day your asking about basic to the next day getting BAH.

OK are you active duty, Reserves???? what??
First duty station? Married??

If you are a Single Soldier just joining the Army, DO NOT get that apartment, b/c you will be living in the barracks (if you are active duty) and if you are Reserves you will not get BAH every month like we do b/c you are not active....have you even been to Basic/AIT? if you are married its adifferent story but you tell us more info and we will give you more info...good luck.

I'm pretty sure he's not active duty because he was having problems with his CAC card and AKO password and said he couldn't get it fixed until this weekend.
