I ship for FLW 20091228 and I'm scheduled to start basic 20100108 but who knows how long I'll be stuck in processing. I'm not looking forward to the cold but I'll take that over heat and humidity any day of the week. However I'm from the west coast so i don't know what to expect but I'm excited to find out.

I spent 22 weeks in FLW about three years ago. You will experience all "mother nature's" seasons, so if you have never dealt with snow, you are in for a treat. I grew up in MN and it was still called to me. My suggestion to you is always have a note pad to write things do, make sure your paperwork is organized to make your inprocessing easier and listen to your instructor because they are there to assist you. They have done what you are trying to do. GOOD LUCK my comrades... Army strong.
