i have to agree with the private pile buddy. EVERY platoon has a few. Mine has 2 of them and as said b4, you WILL get smoked bad as a result of them. Best thing to do is not get pissed with them and keep helping them out and showing them what to do and how to do it right. Just think of it this way, if you have an idiot or two in your platoon....you'll be that much stronger by the end of training.

I take it the latrine situation is the same for the female side of it also? Or are we lucky and get nice closed stalls? :lol:

DONT GO TO KOREA THEN.. open showers and at certain barracks no doors on stalls.. And in ANY Basic its not easy.. but thats my 2 cents worth...

hey it depends what kind of females you get stuck with.... and what battalion and company you go to... i went to A Co 2/39th and it was easy.. some of my battles that were in different battalions had it bad... just depends... thats what the Armys all about... Having females around in basic wouldnt be that bad if the guys would treat us just like one of them.... youll learn alot from having a high speed chick around!!!!

Went to relaxin Jackson myself in Jan 03. I had open showers with walls between the shower heads and toilets in stalls with doors, and..... believe it or not, we even had urinals in the bathroom. I guess cause the barracks were not expecting females to be in the military. Basic is what you make of it. And try as you might, most of the time you have those hard headed soldiers who wants to do their own thing that you get smoked for, the don't really care. Just grin and bear it and have a good time. I sure did.

Lee is all private, just don't wonder off base too far....petersburg isn't a nice place nor is hopewell, not much to do either unless you like watching the teenie boppers yell and fight in the mall.
