Im getting ready to go to bct at ft sill . What should be my biggest concerns and fears for a guy who is 38 yrs old

You will need a lot of patience. I had a similar experience. The biggest challenge is dealing with people that are 10+ years younger than you and inmature of course. The training part is not that bad as long as you are in some kind of shape. Just remember that the dril SGT's are just doing their job and that they do not take things personal. Other than that it all comes down to be where you need to be and do what you are suposed to do.
After a couple of weeks you might even find it fun looking at the younger ones doing stupid things.
Any way, time will go by quick and before you know it you will be in the sandbox (Iraq or Afg.)Believe me, I just got back after 15 months and was sent a few months after AIT.
