uh, you're gonna stay in the barracks, and you don't get to pick your drill sergeant, all you really need to know is do what you're told when you're told, and how you're told.
_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Advice... Go upstairs, grab your big girl panties, and put them on....

You're shipping out to BCT, lets see....You will live in the barracks as Whiskeywife stated, probably a 60 to 70 man open bay arrangement. You don't have to worry about where to go, because you will only go where the Drill Seargents tell you to go. There's no such thing as a "nice" Drill Seargent, make no mistake, they are not your friend in any way, shape, form or fashion. There are no in's and out's to BCT, you get there you learn, you train, and do exactly what you're told to do without question. Your DS has to turn you into the most lethal weapon the world has ever seen, an American Soldier, being nice is nowhere in his job description. Look forward to early mornings and late nights, 30 second showers, and 5 minutes to shovel your breakfast, lunch, and dinner down your throat. It will seem tough at first, but you'll get used to it. It's only 8 weeks, and time will fly by. Later on you'll look back on your time at basic training and laugh. Good luck, and congrats!

What did you expect? Let me guess your Recruiter lied to you and told you that you would be in a 5 star hotel... Sorry I had to.. Your in basic training you should have fun but hate it at the same time I would guess. I did but that was a few years ago.
When I get some time latter this afternoon/ weekend I will post some more info on this, but for now I'll just say there is a chance I will be your Drill Sergeant when you get there.
