I doubt if any of you are old enough to remember what it was like during the Cold War.

One of the big selling points of stationing American forces in Germany was the fear that Warsaw Pact forces would invade through the Fulda Gap.

I wrote a novel about the Cold War back in 2007 and am in the process of revising and re-writing and thought perhaps you might enjoy a snippet that shows the truth about the status of an elite Russian tank unit stationed in East Germany.

It can be accessed @ http://lvcabbie.blogspot.com

Enjoy

MSG Day,

Glad to see you post. I was at Nellis last year and I thought of you.

I know about the Cold War and have my Cold War certificate. I will definitely read your snippet.

Glad you are doing well. We missed you on armyforums.com

V/r,

Chief

To be perfectly honest, when my old pc gave up the ghost, I lost most of my browser favorites and have spent months trying to recover them.
