we serve and protect,some civilian communities appreciate and support us in ways as to give us discounts when we purchase at there stores,i would like to get a list generated as to the chains that give us discounts ,food and resturants also,when you ask some businesses about a military discount they either look at you very puzzeled or how dare you ask or haven't a clue one place that supports us is lowes,if you present your military ID you will get a 10 percent discount,please start a list of places both retail and food chains that you know of so we can support businesses that support us

It might depend on the management and the city you're in.

Around here at Pizza Hut, there is no discount, but I've gotten some up in Ohio where I'm from.

A couple places at the mall in Fayetteville, NC give discounts, but I can't name them off the top of my head.

The city of Columbia, SC is very supportive of the military. Almost everywhere you go they offer a military discount. All you have to do is ask...and of course show an ID. The fact that Ft. Jackson has graduations at least 3 out of the 4 thursdays a month helps too...it brings an enormous amount of business to the city.

Come to Ft Leonard Wood everywhere off post is a discount even the strip clubs lol..
