Sorry I couldn't find the right forum section to post in, there's nothing about detailed finance.

Anyways, my credit isn't that bad, but I'm hoping to get the lowest rate possible. I'm wondering if this was possible. If it is, is it limited to selected dealerships? Or can I get one for a private party seller?

Any help would be appreciated Smiler

The VA does not offer automobile loans. The best thing you can do is shop around to find the best rate. The lowest I've seen usually comes from USAA or Navy Federal Credit Union, but you never know.

SGT Diesel is right, I was going to also suggest USAA or any credit union.

FYI: For insurance try both Geico and USAA for sure, for me Geico has always been cheaper but for others USAA is always cheaper.

It depends on your driving record. I have been with State Farm since I started driving. I get so many discounts for being a customer/good driver for so long that USAA couldn't touch their rates. But it never hurts to call around either. I usually call other companies every year or two just to see what they can offer. Some people swear by USAA. Don't take their word for it.
