I got orders to fort Campbell. I have ask my chain of command how to get pinpoint orders. They told me to get in touch with my branch manager. My branch manager is telling me she cant give me pinpoint orders. Is there another way to get pinpoint orders.
I just need to know if I am going to 101 at FT.Campbell. My 1SG is telling me, I will likely go to a TRADOC unit since I have been deployed twice.

How far out are you from reporting to Ft. Campbell? You will usually not have a pinpoint assignment until you are 90 days out. If you are I would call the Ft. Campbell Replacement Company and see if they could atleast give you the Brigade you are going to. Here's the link I found.

Well here is even another way. Do you know the unit you want to go too? If not, figure it out first. A simple email to the CSM that is professionally written with a little about you and where you want to go and why you want to be there will go a long way. It works, I did it and got right where I wanted to be.

A lot of people are afraid to talk to their BN or BDE CSM and ask for help on "small" issues or feel like they should bother them. That is false. That is what they are there for and personnel is their thing so don't be afraid to involve the CSM.
