This E-4 in my company is a total dirt bag. Some how my 1SG (not the same one that recommended this soldier to the board) over looked the fact that he is promotable. This guys NCO wasnt doing his job by counseling this solider when ever he would do something wrong or even the few smalls things he would do rite. For example, not shaving, being late to formation, every time someone would tell him he is going to WLC getting a profile, and not to mention he CAN NOT give PT what so ever he makes him self look like a complete idiot when he attempts to. And the list goes on. Well anyhow when are 1SG found out that he was on the by name list for promotion he tried to flag him unsuccessfully. There was no counseling packet on this guy at all. So guess who is getting promoted today. Army welcome you newest NCO. I guess there really is not much of a point to this post. Just me venting some frustration out. But seriously if you all new this guy you as a NCO or E-4 promotable would be outraged. And yeah I am not gonna lie I strongly dislike the fact that I busted my A$$ to get promoted and he makes it by doing the things I mentioned above.
Devildog, that crap happens man. Unfortunately the Army isn't the best organization for promoting those who truly deserve it. It seems like alot of the time those who know people or know how to 'cheat' the system get promoted before others.

He probably does not 14 SPC. have nothing better to do. Heaven forbid he actually gave out some helpful MILITARY ADVICE. I don't let a$$ holes like that get to me though. He the type of person you just want to slap the piss out of...Thats the only draw back of being online lol.

I loved it, I thought they both did remarkably well, Biden managed to keep concise and to the point (for the most part) and Palin didn't have a blonde moment. Of the two of them I think Palin did best. She made her points without being overly nit picky while Biden kept repeating the same damn thing over and over and over and over, although he did so in about 90 seconds each time.
Being from the south I must say I was quite biased to Palin with her "bless his heart" and "her fortune is in heaven" remarks.

I am inclined to agree. I really like Biden and honestly wish the Dem. ticket was Biden/Obama. I am still in disbelief at Obama actually being the Presidential nominee and not the VP.
On the other hand, I do really like Sarah Palin, but i'm not sure if she is ready to take over if McCain kicks the bucket. I think in a few years she will be, but not quite yet.
