My rater put in three initial counseling dates in the NCOER but the only counseling I received was one month before the rating period closed.

What exactly are your wanting to appeal? Counseling dates?

It's YOUR career! Take control of it before someone else does.

Now I have been out of the S1 shop for a while, but last time I heard, the NCOER Counseling dates can be left blank under the new form (the digital signature one) if no counseling was done, but I guess people are still putting in fake dates.

How big of a deal is a word mispelled on an NCOER, I know when I processed them if it was wrong, I didnt care if it had all signatures, send it back fix it get signatures again...but now that I work in a SGS my NCOIC said to just sign it and send it for processing b/c my Senior Rater already left and wont have access to a computer with CAC card reader for while since they are standing up a whole new unit where she is at...

I would consider the counseling dates admin data, which you thought were correct when you signed the NCOER.

There is nothing to appeal, since all of you bullets seem to be accuarate as you have not said anything about that. I would just move on. It seems you are disgruntled by the NCOER, but a counseling date will not do anything to your NCOER except draw more attention if appealed.

Like I said, there really is nothing to appeal though.
