what is up with this new form? does anyone know what format you are supposed to use to record the counseling session in the responsibilities section? and also what do you do with all those date blocks in the authentication section???
im losing my mind here and i got 2 new NCOs due for a counseling and im not going to screw them cause i dont understand this new form???
I am having the same problem, I have to give a class on the new "NCOER SUPPORT FORM." Im in the NG on the Tx border mission. Nobody in my area has any guideance on the issue, and I can find nothing on the web or in the new reg. The form says TXARNG USE ONLY and is dated Feb 06. If anyone has anything similar to this please let me know
We just put this presentation up today about completing the new NCOER form. It does not go into the support form, but really does a pretty good job describing the NCOER form.

Ok... I've been searching for detailed guidance, perhaps an example, for the new (MAR 2006) NCOER supoort from without success. DA PAM 623-3 simply states refer to para 3-1, but theres no real meat in the paragraph to complete the form. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
It is completed almost the same as an NCOER. It is nothing more than a working copy for an NCOER. Task/Actions is what they did for that period. Performance Summary is simply how well they did on the specified task/actions. Most units dont even use this form. I use it and it has been succesful for me. You can also just use a 2166-8 for a working copy NCOER and you will get the same effect.
Platoondaddy is right except Task/Actions is what is expected of them in each area of section IV..example for Physical Fitness and Military Bearing..o meet the Army fitness standards or....o remain in compliance with all uniform standards. The performance summary is how they attacked those bullets during rating period.
I understand what goes on the new form but Im unclear as to how to record the dates in each section or if it is even necessary. Is there and example of one filled out. If so please send to me.
