My husband is due to get out of the Army in October. He was just served papers to be a recruiter and would have to extend his contract to accept. He is telling me that it is a great opportunity. I would like to know the truth about recruiting. I am hearing conflicting stories. he is telling me it is now 8-5 and i am hearing that this is false and that it is extended and you do what it takes to get recruits and that it really is LONG hours and most weekends. Is recruiting difficult with a family? I am worried it will take a toll with kids. How bad are the stressors that come with the recruiting life? Do you like your job? also was wondering we put that we wanted the Tampa area if he does it as our first choice. Do you mostly get your first choice? PLease help I am concerned he is not telling me the whole story and I cant get a straight answer on how recruiting life really is with a family. Thank you for your help!
