A bit big for the army.

I am about 19 years old and for the better part of my life I thought about the military as my optimum career choice. I liked the idea of getting sent overseas for months at a time and having a squad or unit to work with.

Now that I'm old enough to enlist, I really want to but I'm a bit big. I'm 5'11 like 230-240 depending on the day but I do have a lot of muscle. I haven't taped myself to see where my percent is but I'm sure it's over. Most people don't believe me when I tell them how much I weigh, actually.

Anyway, I'm trying to lose weight and it's definitely working. I've just been eating better and lifting weights and doing cardio a lot. Anyone got any diet/exercise plans that work wonders? I am VERY dedicated to this so if anyone knows ones that are harsh but effective I'm up for it.
