My BDE S-1 submitted my technical cert (CCNA) onto my ERB. If you're looking for which certs count towards points, not just any cert will do. There is a technical certification matrix found on the HRC page, which lists which certs can be applied towards points. The CCNA is worth 10 points for a 25B, but none for a 25S, for example.

I am on ORGANIZATIONAL STABILIZATION and I wanted to know what does this actually mean. I just reenlisted for Option 5 and I guess I'm on assignment but I could not find an explination of what does O.S. mean. I hope this does not mean that I have to stay here. Please help!

I also have this question. I have the above code along with a date. We recently returned from deployment and our unit is going to become a lifecycle. What does the "O" mean? And for people who don't have enough time in service to meet the lifecycle does it mean we've been stop lossed?

Negative on the deployment. I'm here CONUS and I reuped for CONUS Opt 5. 7 months TOS and my 12 months will be in July. EDAS is showing an ARR DATE of 080810. ASK is showing

I reenlisted last january under the impression that I reenlisted PDA (permanent duty assignment) for 1 year. I looked at my ERB and saw my code was U/200907 U means Enlistment Commitment according to an earlier post, so my questions are:
1) Would me re-enlisting for PDA be considered "Enlistment Commitment"

2) I want to move to another unit, if the U is my "PDA" that I asked for, can I request to have it dropped?

3) If this is not my "PDA" what is it?

Thanks in advance
hello all i had a question i am hoping you all can help with. My husband has a AEA code of O( operational deletion/reset stabilization) and a YMAEAT date of 2009/03, however according to ASK he has been classified as in a FENCED unit(this FENCED unit thing just appeared within the last week) we are trying to get PCS orders out of here as 1) he had orders to be placed with CID and ended up in an infantry unit 2) the "crap" that has been pulled with promotion and mainly we hate it here. Does anyone know if we have a way ot get our orders to a new post, also we got her to this post from germany 27 Feb, 07 and he deployed on 18 June 07(returned from deloyment 31 Oct.07) and at this time the soonest his unit is due for re-deployment is late 2009 early 2010. (remor is stoploss will hit the unit Septemberish) Thank You all in advance for any informationa nd help.

There no such thing as "permanent duty assignment" ... it's called Option 2, Current Stabilization and it's from 12-months from the date of reenlistment.

The "U" AEA code is correct ... it's an enlistment committment (reenlistment actually).

If you do not want to be stabilized under your reenlistment option, you can see your Career Counselor have have this stabilization waived. As soon as HRC approves this, you will be assigned in accordance with the needs of the Army.
this was a reenlistment station, and we had it in the contract that there was a min. stabilization of 12 months from date of arrival. The O code i have found is Operational deletion/reset stabilization. But what gets me is according to his ERB and ASK the AEA/DT is O/200903. Does this mean we can get orders to a new base? And also i dont get this FENCED unit as his ERB states he is not FENCED?????? StopLoss is not inaffect for his unit at this time either.
armykitten01, I was actually responding to the previous post by DrFrrice. Sorry for the confusion.

In order to leave Fort Drum (I'm assuming that's where you are), he'll need to talk with his assignment manager. Without reenlisting for an assignment, it'll be pretty tough to get another assignment with only a year on station.
oh ok sorry. The thing is on his ERB it states that we have a AEA/DT of O/200903. And as fsr as reenlistment he is not eliable till 2010. He has called his branch manager and we are waiting for a call back, however if what we have found is correct with the AEA/DT we can request and/or reseave orders as of march of 2009. Thank you for any information and help woth understanding this better you can give in advance.P.S. also we have been here at Drum since Febuary of 2007, so we have been here 2 years.
Greetings all!
Question: Two parts

1) Who makes these AEA Code changes on EMILPO?

2) If BDE (because I know it's not an BN S1 function) Does anyone know who in particular I need to link up with IOT get my AEA Code changed?

I have an AEA Code "A" (A PERMANENTLY INELIGIBLE FOR FUTURE ASSIGNMENT) and I'm trying to PCS elsewhere.

Thank you all.
Good morning everyone. I am currently stationed in Germany and clearing to report to 3CR at Hood in 2 weeks. I have an ETS of 25 May 2013. I am trying to reclass under the BEAR Program to 35P, but can't do so until I report to Hood on 16 April 2012. I'm looking at my AEA Code and I don't have one. Is that bad? I'm told by the retention NCO at Hood that I'm good as I have a DLAB of 102 and I'm within my window and SSG is accepted into the BEAR under MOS 35P. Do I need to do anything about my AEA Code and if so, whom do I need to speak with about changing it? Thanks so much for your time.

Are you flagged or Barred from Re-enlistment?

Matt
hey all I have a AEA code of G/201208 i realize this is special catagory stabilization. But what does this mean? im currently stationed in alaska. I came back from deployment a month ago and my deros is 2013 jun.
Also If anyone has any recommendations on how to stay at my current duty station until i ets that would be helpful. once my deros is up i will have a year and a half left in the army i really don't want to pcs just to come back up here. Thanks
1panther
im in the same boat. i have a 9h aea code (pending med board which was completed over a year ago) and ive contacted my career counselor to get it changed...he sent me to the pa...the pa sent me to s1...s1 sent me to mpd...mpd said they fixed it but that was 2 weeks ago and my erb still shows the 9h. if you get it figured out please give me a heads up.
hi. i just re-enlisted in july. my original report date was nov 30th 2012. when i checked my asked it changed to july 2013. but on my erb my aea code is "L", AND MY DATE OF LOSS IS 2012 OCT 21. would i still be able to pcs now. or would i have to wait to july?
The AEA Code "L" basically means there are no restrictions on reassignment. Simply contact your Branch Manger via HRC phone roster, or go to your installations Levy Section to find out your exact report date.

The Date of Loss on your ERB is locally inputted for Outbound Rosters. Im currently on orders with a Report Date of 10Jan2013, but Date of Loss is 12Dec2012, but I go on leave and with Early Report I PCS 01Nov2012.

Start contacting Branch or Levy to verify so you can start planning a smooth PCS.
Hello, I am hoping someone can assist me.

On my AEA date it has 6/201410.

I see 6 means Soldier identified as shelf replacement, termination not to exceed 12 months. Does this mean I am scheduled for involuntary separation by Oct 2014? Thanks for the help anybody.
Hey Folks,
I have a quick question, I currently have a "W" code on my ERB. I am currently applying for PCS orders to Ft. Bliss due to this code. I am trying to apply to Ft. Hood for PCS. Is this code waiverable by the organization? Can retention waive this code off my ERB?

Again, thanks for your time.

"W" means stabilization at your current duty station until the end date that is next to the code. You can't be considered for PCS before that date. Is very hard to change that code...unless you get picked for SF or CID...nobody else dare to touch that code...or if you know some general that can put a good word for you.
