MEDICAL DISCHARGE

MY FIANCE IS IN BCT AND HAS A TEAR IN HIS INTESTINE AND LUMPS ALL OVER HIS BODY! THE MEDICS KNOW ABOUT THE TEAR AND ARE NOT TAKING IT SERIOUSLY THEY JUST KEEP SAYING GIVE IT A WEEK. HE WANTS A MEDICAL DISCHARGE, HAS DECIDED HE DOES NOT WANT TO CONTINUE WITH THE ARMY. HOW CAN HE GET A MEDICAL DISCHARGE? HE IS IN FORT SILL OK.

well he can always request one but its up to them if they give him one and most likely they will probabily send him home to heal and have him report back also by the time the paperwork and request is processed he would most likely graduated from BCT. Yes I do believe that the miliutary is not for everybody but if he can suck it up for a few yrs he can leave the service with some great benefits.
how does he know he has a tear in his intestine? was he diagnosed? if all he has seen is a medic he has not been diagnosed then...why does he not want to continue with the Army? sounds like he is finding an excuse to get out instead of getting better and graduating training...
