MEPS MOS Reservation Question

I am prior service (Marine Corps) with a reservation to attend 11X AIT 01 May. I will not actually be enlisting until the morning of my Report Date. I am currently have a reservation to attend AIT 01 May, but was wondering if there is a way to change the reservation to an earlier date?
Like I stated, I only have a reservation and have yet to enlist, but my contract is Specialist (E-4) for Infantry with Airborne as an Incentive if that helps to clarify things. If it is possible to change the date to go earlier, how would I go about it? Thank You!

Your best bet is to either 1) Talk to your recruiter he/she should be able to contact MEPS or get you there. Your recruiter is there to work for you. or 2) Contact MEPS (I would advise against that one though). I don't know the inner workings of 11X AIT course and they may be full up right now and don't want to send you down there just to twiddle your thumbs and waste both your time and government tax dollars. Good luck in AIT and remember keep your feet and knees together at BAC.
I am going to say generally "no." If your Recruiter made a phone call to get you your job, then that is the earliest day that you can attend the training. Also, if you change your ship date, you may have to RENO (redo) your contract. That means any incentives, bonuses, etc may change. I know you want to get started ASAP, but the reservation date is probibly the soonest you will get.

Go with what you got and be happy you made it in as prior service.
