PSG vs AIT Instuctor/Squad Leader

I just finished being an AIT instructor/Squad leader and I can say for a fact the the AITPSG DO NOT take care of the Soldiers 24/7. Heres the basic breakdown of all their duties. First the Squad leader and PSG are at PT with the Soldiers at 0330. Then the PSG takes them to Breakfast and then drops them off at the Schoolhouse. FOR 8 HOURS+ they do NOTHING with the Soldiers as they are at the Schoolhouse. After the SQUAD LEADER marchs them to Lunch and Dinner they again have those hours in between to take care of "Administrated Paperwork" that for some insane reasons seems to take their entire day(Poor management is what it really entails). THEN the Squad leaders also conduct the Bedchecks again while the PSG take care of this "paperwork". And then the kicker, Squad leaders come in on the Weekends to do PSG duties while you again take care of "paperwork". The Squad leader concept is a complete ABUSE OF POWER/AUTHORITY simply put

PSG are not competent enough to be Instructors so they do not know what the Instructors go thru. Any Instructor can fall in on the PSG duty and do while a PSG would never be able to do an Instructors duty. The whole Squad Leader concept seems to benefit only the PSG. What are your thoughts on this subject?

Oh, I know what you mean. And it's not just the PSG's. It really seems to be MOST E-7's. They don't do jack sh!t over there. Platform instructors do E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G over there. It's bullish!t.

The ones that don't do anything, just walk around with their chest out, check email, take long lunches, and go home early.
