SLC 91X

Anyone have any pointers or advice for SLC for 91X's I remember when I went to BNCOC it was at Aberdeen but now it is at FT Lee. Anyone know anyone or has been through SLC at Lee yet what would you do differently that would benefit me for when I go right after this deployment in a couple months?

Im not sure if its too late to respond. But SLC at Ft Lee was pretty easy, of course be ready for the weigh in and PT Test. When i went in Feb 2010, we were told that the PT Test was no longer required. The PT is what your class makes of it, it is student lead. The classes are death by power point, depending on your instructor. Its was pretty layed back. It was only 1 month long and it went by pretty quick. I know they talked about some changes to the curriculum to spice it up, we did not do combatives, or go to the field. hope this helps! Good luck!
Thanks Appreciate the information.
Quick question any advise on hotels in the Area? I can imagine how crowded Ft Lee is right now with the amount of training that is offered there. I was thinking about trying to stay in Army Lodging if it was at all possible in an attempt to detour away from morning and evening traffic during my daily commutes to and from School
You will be required to stay at one of the hotels that they have a contract with. When you go to on post lodging they will have a flyer telling you which hotel to stay at.I stayed on post lodging and it was so easy because Pt formation was across the street from lodging.

You stayed at on post lodging but I will be required to stay at an off post contracted hotel? I can't stay in on post lodging or is just hard to get?
I stayed off post for 2 days and they offerd me the option to stay on the on post lodging so i took it and moved in on day three. But you can stay off post but it has to be with a hotel they have a contract with. You might not get a room on post on the day you report but as soldiers graduate the rooms become available. Good luckl!

So I take that as it is better to live in on post lodging than staying in a hotel right?
